Language assistance and auxiliary aids

If English isn’t the language you want to do this in, or if print on a screen doesn’t work for you, say so. It costs you nothing and it is not a favor — it’s how this is supposed to work.

What we can do today

Being straight with you about this is more useful than a list that looks generous. Grove Benefit Advisors is a small agency and these are the things we can genuinely offer right now:

  • Talking it through in English, by phone or on a video call
  • TTY 711, which reaches us through the free national relay service
  • Working with an interpreter or a family member that you bring to the call, for as long as it takes

We do not have a bilingual advisor on staff and we do not have an interpreter service on retainer. If you need one of those, say so — we will tell you whether we can arrange it, and if we cannot, we will point you to Connect for Health Colorado or 1-800-MEDICARE, both of which staff interpreters in many languages at no cost to you.

Asking for any of this does not change what plans you can enroll in or what they cost.

How to ask

Call (970) 840-1250 — TTY 711 — during Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm Mountain, or send us a question and tell us what you need. If you leave a voicemail, a licensed advisor calls back.

You can also write to us at 2580 E Harmony Rd, #201, Fort Collins, CO 80528, or have your own interpreter or a family member join any call.

Nondiscrimination

Grove Benefit Advisors, LLC does not exclude people from our services, or treat them differently within them, because of race, color, national origin, age, disability, sex, or sexual orientation.

That includes what we’ll spend time on. A short appointment because somebody was hard to communicate with is discrimination with better manners, and it is not how we work.

If we get this wrong

Tell us first if you’re willing to — call (970) 840-1250 or write to us at the address above, and we’ll take it seriously and tell you what we did about it.

You do not have to go through us. You have the right to file a civil rights complaint with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office for Civil Rights, and doing so does not affect anything about your coverage or your relationship with us.
